Imaging Architect with Biopharma Experience (Hyderabad, India)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Hands-On End-to-End Imaging Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative image analytics solutions within our biopharma organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in image data management, analysis techniques, and AI applications, along with a proven history of successfully delivering complex, multi-tier imaging solution

Image Analytics Architecture & Strategy

• Define and Execute Strategy: Develop and implement the image analytics architecture and strategy, ensuring alignment with R&D goals.
• Stay Updated on Technology: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in imaging technologies and AI, integrating them into the architectural roadmap.
• Drive Innovation: Partner with cross-functional teams to discover opportunities for image-driven innovation and insights.

Image Data Management & Integration

• Design Data Solutions: Create and deploy comprehensive image data management solutions, covering capture, storage, lifecycle optimization, and integration.
• Optimize Storage: Enhance data storage strategies by balancing on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
• Streamline Data Pipelines: Build efficient data pipelines for image processing and analysis.

Image Analysis & AI

• Conduct Image Analysis: Use algorithmic and machine learning tools to perform image analysis.
• Oversee Annotation and Inference: Manage image annotation and inference processes using computer vision algorithms.
• Human-in-the-Loop Learning: Implement human-in-the-loop strategies to boost model accuracy and efficiency.
• Leverage AI Techniques: Apply both traditional and generative AI methods to tackle image analysis challenges.

Front-End Design & Architecture

• Collaborate on UX/UI: Work with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for image visualization and analysis.
• Develop Front-End Architecture: Design and build front-end architecture to support image-centric applications.
• Ensure System Integration: Guarantee seamless connectivity between front-end and back-end systems.

Infrastructure & FinOps

• Manage Infrastructure: Design and oversee the infrastructure needed for image data storage, processing, and analysis.
• Implement FinOps: Apply FinOps practices to optimize the costs related to image data management and use.
• Ensure Scalability: Maintain scalability and high performance of the imaging infrastructure.

Collaboration & Communication

• Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and engineers to understand their imaging requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate Effectively: Simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster Team Collaboration: Encourage a collaborative, results-focused environment within the team.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and developing image analytics solutions, preferably within the biopharma industry.
• Expertise in image data management, analysis techniques, AI applications, and front-end architecture.
• Proven ability to deliver impactful imaging solutions in research or development environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based image storage and processing platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for image data management in the biopharma sector.
• Solid understanding of FinOps principles and best practices.
• Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
