Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior AI Evangelist to spearhead AI adoption and drive digital transformation across our BioPharma organization. This role demands a unique combination of technical AI expertise, deep BioPharma domain knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to staying at the forefront of AI advancements. As a key advocate for AI, you will inspire, educate, and engage stakeholders, foster collaboration, and champion AI-driven innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Advocacy and Education: Act as the primary advocate for AI, developing and executing awareness campaigns, workshops, and presentations to educate stakeholders on the transformative potential of AI in the BioPharma context.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, scientists, researchers, and IT teams. Understand their challenges and clearly articulate how AI can address pain points and drive business value.
• Strategy and Roadmap Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft a comprehensive AI strategy and roadmap, identifying high-impact use cases aligned with business objectives and prioritizing their implementation.
• Digital Transformation: Lead AI-driven digital transformation initiatives across key BioPharma functions, including drug discovery, clinical trials, manufacturing, and commercial operations.
• External Engagement and Thought Leadership: Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and forums. Establish thought leadership and position the company as a leader in AI-driven BioPharma innovation.
• Industry and Competitive Intelligence: Keep up-to-date with the latest AI trends, including generative AI, and assess their impact on the BioPharma sector. Analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• AI in Drug Discovery: Continuously explore emerging AI trends in drug discovery, including target identification, drug design, and clinical trial optimization. Share insights with the organization to identify potential applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of traditional and generative AI models, algorithms, and techniques, with a proven track record of applying AI to solve real-world problems.
• BioPharma Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the BioPharma industry, including drug development, regulatory processes, and market dynamics. Ability to translate AI capabilities into actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts for diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and Influence: Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, with strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
• Passion and Drive: A genuine passion for AI and its potential to revolutionize the BioPharma industry, combined with a proactive, self-starter attitude and a desire to make a significant impact.
• Intellectual Curiosity: A strong desire to stay current with AI advancements and a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI research, development, or implementation, with previous experience in the BioPharma industry being a significant advantage.
• Thought Leadership: Demonstrated expertise through publications, presentations, or contributions to open-source AI projects.
