Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI Analytics Consultant with extensive experience in implementing and customizing Fusion Data Intelligence and Oracle BI Applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle's analytics offerings, data warehousing concepts, and cloud BI platforms, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality analytics solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new technologies in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Customization:
  • Lead the implementation and customization of Fusion Data Intelligence (or Fusion Analytics Warehouse) with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Customize configurations in FAW/BIAPPS Configuration Manager to meet specific client needs.
• Oracle BI Application Expertise:
  • Apply 7+ years of strong knowledge in Oracle BI Applications (BI Apps) 7.9.x and 11g architecture, data models, and components.
  • Utilize proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming for ETL processes, focusing on data extraction, transformation, and loading, particularly in FAW.
• Analytics Development & Optimization:
  • Develop and optimize analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Data Visualization, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
  • Migrate OBIEE on-premises solutions to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Semantic Layer.
• Reporting & Troubleshooting:
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards in OAC, utilizing measures, filters, calculated measures, and calculated items.
  • Conduct thorough testing of reports and troubleshoot errors and issues in OBIEE/OAC, understanding tool limitations and performance constraints.
• Data Warehousing & Integration:
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data warehouse modeling.
  • Integrate cloud-based BI and data platforms, including Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and AWS Redshift.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization:
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization for analytics applications to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear understanding of technical concepts and project objectives.

Primary Skills:

• Proficiency with Oracle BI tools such as OBIEE, OAS, OAC, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) as ETL/ELT tools.
• Advanced SQL skills, particularly in Oracle environments.
• Expertise in cloud BI and data platforms, with a focus on performance tuning and optimization.

Secondary Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data platforms, including Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and AWS Redshift.
• Experience with cloud data integration and management.
• Knowledge of API integration and automation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing customer solutions using Oracle's analytics offerings, including OAC, Oracle Data Visualization, and ADW.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle BI Applications, OBIEE, and ODI 12c.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
