Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect for AI to lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of innovative AI solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI architecture, data management, model development, and integration, particularly within the biopharma or healthcare sectors. This role is crucial in driving AI-driven transformation by leveraging advanced technologies to enhance business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Architecture & Strategy:
  • Define and implement the overall AI architecture and strategy, aligning with business goals and technological capabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and incorporate them into the architectural roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation and process optimization.
• Data Management & Integration:
  • Design and implement comprehensive data management solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security.
  • Develop strategies for data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering to enhance AI model performance.
• AI Model Development & Deployment:
  • Build, train, and deploy a range of AI models, including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
  • Optimize AI models for specific applications within the biopharma industry, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
  • Integrate AI models seamlessly into existing biopharma workflows.
• RAGs & API Development:
  • Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance AI functionalities.
  • Develop APIs for RAG systems, enabling integration with other applications and systems.
  • Ensure API reliability through structured testing and quality control measures.
• Front-End Design & Architecture:
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for AI-driven applications.
  • Design front-end architectures that effectively support complex AI solutions.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems to deliver a cohesive user experience.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Implement robust authorization and authentication mechanisms to protect AI models and sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate security threats to safeguard AI infrastructure.
• Code Quality & DevOps/MLOps:
  • Enforce high code quality standards through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement DevOps and MLOps methodologies to streamline the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of AI solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the AI team.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and deploying complex AI solutions.
• Expertise in traditional and generative AI, data management, API development, and front-end architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful AI solutions in the biopharma or healthcare industries.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the design and deployment of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Proficiency in structured API testing and automation.
• In-depth knowledge of biopharma workflows and data management requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
